To register a new active TRAKSIFY GPS device like the COMPANION simply scan the QR code on the product itself. To scan use a Smartphone camera. Use either the App to scan and register your TRAKSIFY GPS device (recommended) or register the COMPANION using the phone's camera directly. The TRAKSIFY NFC tag can't be registered with the App. To register a NFC tag simply use the phone's camera directly without the need of using the App.

The first 3 years are included FREE with the initial device purchase. No hidden or additional charges apply. There is no subscription required. There is no external SIM data plan required.

No, you can cancel the subscription at any time even during the 36 months free period.

No, all TRAKSIFY devices have the connectivity pre-installed when the device is produced. You will not need to insert any SIM card. The internal connectivity covers 175+ countries and territories.

When you cancel your plan, your current plan remains active until the end of your billing period. You will continue to enjoy all the benefits of your current plan (e.g., 500 messages/month for Monthly plan, unlimited for Annual plan) until that date.

Example: If you cancel your Monthly plan on July 15th and your billing period ends on August 4th, you will continue to have 500 messages/month until August 4th. After that, you will automatically switch to the PAYG plan (50 free messages/month).

Both WhatsApp and SMS messages are counted separately. The free allowance applies to total messages (WhatsApp + SMS combined). For example, on the Monthly plan with 500 messages, you could send 300 WhatsApp and 200 SMS messages within your allowance.

If you exceed your free allowance:
PAYG: Each additional message costs HKD 0.15
Monthly: Each additional message costs HKD 0.09
Annual: No overage charges! You have unlimited messages.
Important: PAYG has a minimum charge of HKD 10.00 if you exceed your allowance.

Upgrade (PAYG → Monthly → Annual): Takes effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated amount for the new plan.
Downgrade (Annual → Monthly): Takes effect immediately. You'll be charged for the new plan and your old plan will remain active until the end of its billing period.
Cancel (Monthly/Annual → PAYG): Takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your current plan remains active until then.

Yes! For PAYG and Monthly plans, your message allowance resets on the 1st day of each month. Your usage counter starts fresh, and you get a new allowance.
Note: Annual plan has unlimited messages, so no reset is needed.

Yes! Critical alerts (SOS, Vibration, Fall) are always delivered, even if you have exceeded your message allowance or have WhatsApp notifications turned off. This ensures you never miss an emergency alert. This does not apply in case your account gets blocked due to administrative reasons.

Yes, you can turn off all WhatsApp and/or SMS message sending in the mobile App's notifications section.
